This is my debut album. I named it Wired Stuff because I was experimenting with a variety of gear, like a telephone I converted to a microphone, dictaphone tape recordings, a toy piano, an electric megaphone and so forth, basically anything I could interact with though sound. I was also experimenting with my voice in different acoustic settings. Back then I lived in Barcelona and my flat was wired up in cables as I was recording in different rooms, even on the roof top, down the chimney and inside my washing machine. A big chucnk of my early sample library was made this way and at this point. The songs on Wired Stuff are recorded mainly in Berlin as I moved there in the process.
